CM Systems

Hi All,

Can anybody please explain what are CM systems , how they are created and most important how these CM systems affect the crawler task.

I have read some sap help pages but still it is not very clear to me , actually we have created some internal portal repositories and have created index for them.

I can search the documents from these repositories but when I go to the index monitor I see a yellow triangle becides these repositories and one message saying 'no crawler service has been started for /documents/<folder_name>'

In one of the threads on the SDN I read that we should have only one CM system in 'System Landscape' (System Admin -> System Config -> System Landscape definations -> CM systems) .

In our case we have 3 CM systems created , I cannot delete other two systems as some tasks have been assigned to them .

Any solution ?
