ECC 6 Installation Problems

HI Experts

Facing problems during the 19th phase of ECC 6 installation ie during Import ABAP. 9 Package got imported and 9 Packages failed.

Please see the error log below:

Request your early suggestion to get this rectified:

Import Monitor log details:

ERROR: 2007-07-22 07:01:09 com.sap.inst.migmon.LoadTask run

Loading of 'SAPAPPL2' import package is interrupted with R3load error.

Process 'D:\usr\sap\ECB\SYS\exe\uc\NTI386\R3load.exe -i SAPAPPL2.cmd -dbcodepage 4103 -l SAPAPPL2.log -stop_on_error' exited with return code 2.

For mode details see 'SAPAPPL2.log' file.

Standard error output:

sapparam: sapargv( argc, argv) has not been called.

sapparam(1c): No Profile used.

sapparam: SAPSYSTEMNAME neither in Profile nor in Commandline

Hello Madhav,

with which option u are installing? By default u need to select unicode installation for ECC 6.0. Try to go with unicode installtion and let us know if u face any error.

Please Check the Listner status thru comamnd prompt>lsnrctl>status

also post the lisnter.ora and tnsnames.ora

hi madhav,

what is the version of Oracle u r using.also the patch level of oracle.

if u r using oracle 10g it needs patch set of 4 or 8.dont use 5.

hi Madhav

check ur listner status from OS level; stop it and start it again.

( lsnrctl commandline)

check ur database status from OS level

check for TNSPING status

check ur database & sap services through service.msc

stop the SAPINST & continue ur installation from where it stopped

Hi,

Please check whether TNS listner is running.From windows services check it..If it has been stopped start it and resume your installation

Hi Umesh

TNS Listener is running and also I am able to connect to database using sysdba credentials. 9 imports are successful and 9 have failed with the error mentioned above.

Your suggestion and guidance would greatly help me.
