Hello All,
You are probably refering to the EC&O package. this is an all-in-one package for construction companies. In this Industry solution there is a component name "Home Building" which is supposed to be used for real estate. But, be aware, this component is based on the RE-CLASSIC and not on the RE-FX. further more, it does not have all functions that we know in RE (it is based on development of a linkage between RE and SD)
Hope I helped

I am not aware of Implementation od SAP in Construction Company, but in Constucting Industry Milestone Billing will play an important role in SD towards part payment due.
I suppose now almost all industry are growing & I am sure that SAP might have been implemented at some clients & may be linked to Real Estate. SAP do have Real Estate reated configuration.

There is no specific Package for Construction Industry as such like there is for Oil, Retail & Telco...With standard package of SAP ECC itself you can map your business processes, Construcion Business are many times baed on turnkey Projects...so from SD point of view...Billing will be mainly on Milestone basis..ex on completion of 20% of project, you will raise the bill...material can be of different type along with services...like labour cost...raw material used etc...so you have to map all accordingly. Vendors will be many..as far as Customer is concerned...it will depend on the scenario.
