Hello all,
I have just downloaded the 2 files:
SAPNW7.0ABAPTrialSP12.part1.rar
SAPNW7.0ABAPTrialSP12.part2.rar
for SAP NetWeaver 7.0 ABAP Trial Version and ran the installation program (SAPNW7.0ABAPTrialSP12\image\setup.exe) to install NetWeaver 7 ABAP Trial.
After the installation had completed, it aborted telling me the installer could not find the file "sapmmcX86u.msi".
Now, I notice that I have no Start Menu entries for SAP NetWeaver (the documentation tells me to go to Start > Programs > SAP NetWeaver 7.0 ABAP Trial Version > NSP > Stop Application Server to start the application server).
It was then, that I attemped to uninstall and re-install. I tried to find the uninstaller uninstall.exe at <INSTALL_DRIVE>\SAP\NSP\_uninst (according to the documentation), but this file and folder does not exist.
Therefore, I am stuck with a partial installation of NetWeaver and no way to uninstall. If someone can kindly advise me as to how I can repair/uninstall my current installation, that would be great!
I have just figured out how to manually uninstall it. However, I have not figured out why it did not complete - I will try again and hope everything works fine.

Hello Benjamin,
I have the same Problem, altough not complete.
Yesterday I did the installation of the Netweaver Trial version. Installation was succesfully, and after starting the server, settings the correct path in the SAPGUI logon pad, I could launch SAP with my BCUSER.
Today at work, I tried to launch SAP again, but got a shortdump, which is exactly the one mentioned in following link.
Therefore I tried to uninstall the whole thing, using the Uninstall option which at that time I had available via my windows menu:
Programs->SAP 7.0 ABAP Trial Version -> NSP -> Uninstall
During the uninstall I got some sort of Java Error...
So no succesfull deinstallation...When looking at the enclosed help file, I saw the uninstall.exe should also be available in the path you mention...but as stated in your previous note above, the file and/or Path is not available.
Could you please indicate how you did manage to do the uninstallation ??
thanks
davy
