Sub totals are not being displayed

Hi GURU's

I have a query, In that I have a info object Z_GROUP. For this info object I want to display the sub totals but they are not being displayed.

Note : When I click on that info object and say Result Rows Always display, it is displaying the whole total but subtotals are not being displayed.

Please explain me in detail how to go about doing it...

Hi,

If you want to show the sub total of both the characteristics, it will be same always. Coz the records combination is common for both the characteristics.

So in Bex, every time it will show only one sub total for the least characteristic wise.

Hi,

If you have only one object in your row of the query, then always you will get only grand total. If you have more than one character in the row, then your result will give the sub total according to the second characteristic.

For example, if you have only Z_GROUP character in your row, then you will get grand total of the Z_GROUP. Coz there is no meaning to give sub total for a single characteristic. But if you will include one more character like Z_MATERIAL before Z_GROUP, then you will get the sub totals of Z_GROUP based on Z_MATERIAL wise.

But in case if I want to view the sub totals of both Material and group???

How do I get that option???

My requirement is such that I need to see the sub totals of both the chracteristics...
