Item text not copied from Contract into PO

HI ALL,

I have a problem with item text not being copied into PO from contract.

I have created a PR and assigned a contract as source of supply.I have maintained Item text in Contract and PR.Based on the Copy controls of text linkages, the item text is picked from contract.

Now i removed the Item text from Contract and want the Item text from PR to be copied to PO, but the Item text is copied from Contract (i.e, Blank/No Text).

But initially when i havent maintained any Item text in contract, the item text is picked up from PR.

I am not able to trace the functionality here.

Can anyone help me out?
