Hello everybody!
I am trying to use the CCM 2.0 to implement the catalogues in display-only mode, as it used to be done with the Requisite Bug-Eye.
Are there any parameters to set for disabling the field "Quantity", the icon "Basket" and the push-botton Add to cart?
Can I do this without modifying the code?
What do you think about this issue?
Kind regards,
Enzo
Hello Enzo,
How about providing URL for search screen without HOOK_URL parameter. The Quantity and Add to Cart buttons are active but items are not transfered to SRM.

Dear Masa,
thanks for your helpful message. Your explanation is clear but I would like you to understand that the catalogue I am talking about should be for consultation only. This means that the user should not be able to insert the quantities to be ordered and that no "Add to Cart buttons" should exist. This, ideally, is what I need but I am not sure this is feasible without modyfing the BSP pages.
Please let me know, if you can help me.
Thank you very much for you help (I'll be happy to give you the maximum number of point, should you resolve my problem).
Enzo
Hello Vincenzo,
1. Define customer characteristics like Z_Supplier
2. Create a dummy supplier catalog and map it to Master catalog.
3. Upload your CSV data to the dummy supplier catalog
3. Customize display. Hide the standard Supplier characteristics and display Z_Supplier
4. Access CCM directly. Please check my previous post.
Regards,
Masa
Thanks Masa,
we use CCM without SRM and we haven't suppliers in our business process.
About your points:
1) must I define a customer characteristics like Z_Supplier on my procurement catalog?
2) When I tried to creat a dummy supplier catalog, on create page must define an Supplier ID. If I try to insert value "000001" CCM respond with error message: "Supplier 1 does not exist".
There is in back-end customizing some place where i can define a dummy supplier?
3) I will try after correct supplier catalog creation
4) This point is OK.
Regards,
Vincenzo

Hi Masa,
we resolved our problem.
We use CCM in standalone mode without SRM and XI, we use only CCM 2.0 with TREX 7.0.
We have created a dummy supplier accross BSP /CCM/CAT_SUPPLIER, in in the Business Partner Customizing menù is possible to define internal/external suppliers number range.
Accordirng your suggests we will try:
1) to create a supplier catalog
2) to upload supplier catalog
3) mapping supplier with master catalog
4) mapping master catalog with procurement catalogs
Thanks for all.
We will write about news.
Regards,
Enzo
Hi Masa,
we tried accordirng your suggests following steps:
1) we created a dummy supplier catalog with "Edit Supplier Master Data" link on CCM home page (OK)
2) we upload schema and content in dummy supplier catalog (OK)
3) we mapped dummy supplier catalog with master catalog (KO)
4) we mapped schema and content master catalog with procurement catalogs (OK)
We have a problem in mapping of dummy supplier catalog with master catalog.
The mapping of schema is OK (we mapped a category of supplier to master catalog).
The mapping content is KO. We try to map a category content of supplier catalog to category of master catalog pushing Map Content Button the following message error appair:
"Mapping not possible; supplier catalog SUPP_CAT3 has not been accepted yet".
There are customizing step for accept dummy supplier catalog (we haven't SRM!)?
Thanks for all.

Enzo
Hello,
We work with SRM-MDM Catalog 2.0.
In the Configuring the Search UI: General Tab Shopping Option we activated the Radio Button < Shopping Cart > for not having offered the Shopping Cart Preview before transferring items to the shopping cart application.
Unfortunately the SRM-MDM Catalog goes always through the Shopping Cart Preview regardless which Radio Button is selected:
(
Shopping Options:
Shopping Cart
Shopping Cart Preview
Catalog Exploring (Display Only)
)
All other changes in the configuration UI like Display List fields and Search Definitions are working well.
Do you know this problem? Is there a bug?
Thank you very much for helping further
Best regards

Hello Masa,
we upgrated CCM 2.0 from SP 06 to SP10.
After we uploaded new schema on /CCM/MASTER_CATALOG and mapped newly
Supplier Catalogs to Master catalog and Master to Procurements.
When I connect on /CCM/MASTER_CATALOG in edit mode, on "Content" tab we
saw an error "Error when reading unassigned items". In the catalog
structure tree, yellow arrow is on MASTER CATALOG name.
In the log there are error log with error information: "ERROR READING
HEADER DATA".
Is this problem dependent on upgrade or something else?
These are our components on system:

Hi Enzo,
that would mean a lot of modification of BSP pages in CCM.
Why do you want to disable the buttons / fields? For what do you need a
catalog, users cannot shop from?
Cheers,
Claudia

Hi Claudia,
we installed CCM 2.0 in stand alone mode without SRM and XI. CCM is connected only with TREX 7.0.
Users use procurements catalogue only in "read mode", so is impossible disable "add shopping basket" buttons in BSP pages by CCM customizing?
Is it possible only with a lot of modification of standard code?
Another question: it's possible to change BSPs CCM standard colors (form blue palette with green palette)? Can you suggest me some standard customizing technique (i think about BSP Theme)?
thanks,
Enzo
Hi Enzo,
I still do not understand your scenario and usage of a catalog in stand alone?
Seems you just offer a search; then no one can order.
Anyhow, modifications in BSP applications are not easy. There is no option for
customizing. Everything is development Based on existing services, you can
create a new service and change the logic. I once started some stuff on SUS,
and stepped back making any further changes. Deactivating buttons should be
not that difficult. I would go for searching the code and comment out the related
area as a starting point. I assume the color scheme can be changed to adust to
the company style in the same way.
Have a look into the CCM related service via SE80 / SICF and copy the service.
Cheers,
Claudia
