Mapping DS 0Material_attr to 0Material

Hi all,

I have been asked to extract some master data from R/3. I was working with 0Material_attr datasource, trying to transfer it to 0Material. I had migrated the DS and probably because of that the transfer rules arent working so I created a transformation but i am having problems mapping the fields.

Is there any way by which the mapping could be done automatically or any link that shows the datasource fields and infoObjects to be mapped so i could do it manually.

I am looking for something like this:

hi,

can u tell us what problems you are facing while defining Rules in transformations ?

In 3.xversions most of the fileds are automatically mapped in transfer rules, but in BI7 u have to map the fileds manually

select keyfig or char,and rightclick and select ‘Rule Details ' --> Next Screen Rule Type ' select Direct Assignment'

same screen Source fields of screen :

press on '+' Button (Add source fields) , next screen select the mapping object. do the same for all the objects.. finally Activate the transformations... and create infopackage, load data to up to PSA and Create DTP and Distribute data to data targets from there...
