Hi Friends,
I have a typical requirment from client side.
For a mining material production , each month one production order will created ,
and daily Partial confiramtions are carried out .
Confirmation contains 6 operation . which are taking place in parallel mode.
per shift wise want confiramtion for all the 6 operation . we are using milestone confiramtion key. i.e if operation 10 is confirmed then operation 20 is allowed for confiramtion.
But if i create Production order and only first time it gives sequencial wise conframtion ,
if confirmation 2 time frm 1 st to 6 it will not give the sequence the error means if i without confirming 10 it is possible to confirm 20.
how to overcome this problem
urgent requirement points r definately rewarded.

Sandeep
Hi Sandeep,
I suggest the following
1.Do not use milestone operations.
2.Please select "Error when operation sequence is not adhere to" in OPK4 parameters for Order Confirmatio.

Sandeep,
During milestone confirmation always previous opeartions will be confirmed when you do the confirmation for next operation...means if 20 is confirmed then 10 will be confirmed automatically.
But if you already confirmed 10 then 20 and next will be allowed and 10 will not be checked.
Now let us know whether you are doing confirmation in the sameway or some other steps.

Sandeep,
Sequence will not be checked if several operations in an order are marked as milestones, the processing sequence of these operations must be adhered to.
If you want error if opeartions are not in sequence then define "error when opeartion sequence are adherd to" in OPK4 transaction.
For example: Operation 30 and operation 50 are marked in their control keys as milestone operations. First, you must confirm operation 30. By confirming operation 50, you only automatically confirm the preceding operation 40.

Hi Tajuddin,
What ur saying is working, but after partial confirmation, is it possible to maintain the sequence of confirmation?
Example
Operation 10
Operation 20
Operation 30
Operation 40
When im confirming first time, i have to confirm in the sequence, this is working.
But in our scenario, all operation we are doing partial confirmation first time, when we go for next confirmation it is not following the sequence, ie i can confirm OPERATION 40 directly the second time.
Im doing this because i have only one order for the entire month and everyday they do a partial confirmation. Here i want to maintain the Sequence of the operation even though it has been partially confirmed.
Pls help...
Sandeep,
Sequences will be maintained automatically in milestone confirmation...for example
suppose you have confirmed operation 10 for 50pc then you are making confirmation for operation 20 for 100pc. In this scenario 100 will be confirmed for operation 20 and for opeartion 10, 50pc will be confirmed automatically because you have already confiremed the 10 for 50pc. This is only incase if you have single milestone key for last operations.
if you have two milestone key for example in operation 50 you are confirming the quantity 50 then while confirming this operation 30 and 40 will be confirmed automatically..Suppose here 30 and 40 has some partial confirmation then also these opeartions will be confimed for the balance automatically. 20 will not be confirmed becase this has the milestone key.

Hi,
If it is milestone after confirmation 20 means confirmation of 10 will be done automatically.
Check setting in confirmation parameters that check sequence is there or not??
