Design Studio: Why might date format in query not be the same as date format in initial view?

Hi all,

I'm using Design Studio 1.6 SP04 in BIP mode with a universe data source. I've noticed that, when I refresh the query in the query panel, I see dates in format MM/DD/YYYY, but when I open the initial view for the same data source, I get dates in format MM/DD/YY. I've looked into Launchpad locale and time settings, my local system date settings, and Design Studio preferences, and I see nothing specifying a MM/DD/YY format. What might be my issue here? What settings might I need to look into/change in order to keep the format consistently MM/DD/YYYY?
