HI Experts,
I have a requirement from client that they need different versions of PMS document to be maintained every time after sending back to employee for corrections or changes.
For Example:
An employee fills his or her KPIs and sends to the supervisor for approval. Now the supervisor wants the employee to make some changes in the KPIs so he sends the document back. Employee then makes the changes and sends the document back to supervisor. In this case the Changes get over written in the document.
Are there any provisions to save the earlier document as a previous version and create a new document with the changes. Again if there are any changes then second version should be saved and both first and second versions should be available to view and the changes should be captured in the new document?
Hello Mithila,
There is no such version management for appraisal documents. But I think you can consider implementing your own logic through BAdI HRHAP00_ACTION_LOG to record details such as what values are changed through action log.
For details about this BAdI, you can have a look at the wiki page below.
HRHAP00_ACTION_LOG - Appraisal Document Action Log
Best regards.
Lucy
