how can imaintain my shift sequence as an interval of available capacity.
how This can be maintained in the work center capacity header detail.
where is the link b/w the shift sequence and the work center .
in create work center , where we use the shift sequence to define the shift time, shift seq
WHILE ENTER "THE INTRL AVL CAP" PUSH BOTTON ,WE CANNOT DO THE ENTRY IN THE SEQUENCE ,SHIFT OF ALL THE FIELDS GOT GREYED.

HERE R THE STEPS FOR THE DEFINING THREE SHIFTS AND ASSIGN TO ONE WORK CENTER.

PATH IN SPRO :
WORK CENTER --> CAPACITY PLANNING --> AVAILABLE CAPACITY --> DEFINE SHIFT SEQ.
OR TCODE : OP4A
OP4A - DEFINE GROUING FOR THE SHIFT SEQ.
DEFINE UR GRP NAME WHICH WE WILL ENTER IN THE WORK CENTER CAPACITY HEADER.
HERE U CAN DEFINE 3 IMP PARAMETER :
A) BREAKS IN THE SHIFTS AS PER UR REQUIREMENT .
B) DEFINE THE SHIFT DEFINATION (3 SHIFTS: DEFINE 1 ST , 2ND , 3RD SHIFTNAME . )
C) DEFINE THE SHIFT SEQ.
IT IS IMP STEP AND HERE ASSIGN THE SEQ AS:

THEN , GO TO WORK CENTER CHANGE MODE ,
CAPACITY TAB --> CAPACITY HEADER ---> (FIELD) GRPING
HERE PRESS F4 U WILL FIND OUR GRPING NAME DEFINE IN OP4A.
ASSIGN THE SAME AND GO TO THE PUSH BUTTON "INTERVALS AND SHIFTS "
ON THE NEXT SCREEN PRESS THE PUH BUTTON "+INTERVAL"
THEN ENTER IN THE TABLE :
VALID FROM TO SHIFT-SEQ LENTH OF CYCLE WORKDAYS
DATE
01.01.2007 SEQ1 1 "BLANK"
THEN U WILL FIND ALL THE THREE SHIFTS DEFINED WILL APPEARE AND
ASSIGNED TO WORK CENTER.

In the capacity header you will find function button "Intervals & Shift" hit on that or Shift+F12 to define your shifts.
You need to maintain shift grouping details using transaction "OP4A" to use them in the workcenter.(If standard shift defination exists)
