Urgent !! -Please Help -Leaving action delimits IT 0017

Hello Gurus,

At the moment when you run the Action to make an employee a leaver in HR

the Action delimits Infotype 0017 Travel Privileges. This then means

that if the Travel & Expense Department need to go and view

expense claims for that employee the system does not permit it as it

states there is no Infotype 0017 valid.

I have advised the to remove the delimit function from the Action

for Infotype 0017, this will then mean that the Travel & Expense

Department can view historical expense claims for all employees.

Pls help how to remove the delimit function form the action type?

Or is there any other way to avoid the IT0017 from getting delimit

hai

even if u delimit the history will be maintained

u can see the dta by giving the dates for period for which the data is available.

if u cant see the data of the infotype after delimiting

ther is no meaning in delimiting it is asgood as deleting.

if u want to remove delimit of the infotype

go to spro,PA, customozing procedures, actions, infogroup, in that take leaving and in that pick up 0017 and it will have LIS9 and change it to copy or just remove it.

So if we remove the delimit the infoptye 0017 to i.e LIS9, we can see the historical records of the employee?

Is there any other settings required in this? I mean apart from the one mentioned above?

hai

the purpose of delimiting is to maintain then historical data.that is the main diference between delete and delimit.

that is even when u delimit the historical data will be there for access.

even if you dont limit also the record will bethere for access as long as u dont remove the record.

So instead of LIS9, which operation we need to insert? Can we use MOD / DIS

Don't do anything.. ie take it out of the Infogroup for the leaving Action..

Hello Gurus,

With ref to my above question, my client is having a problem -

They need to remove the travel privilege screen from this leavers action, so that when an employee leaves, they are delimited, but the travel privileges are still active.

They have had a problem with leavers, as once they have been run as a leaver, and they have been delimited, s they have an error when trying to view the history of their claims in PR05.

After investigation of this it seems that this is caused by the travel privileges being delimited.

So we need this to be taken out of the leavers action, so that the other items are still delimited but NOT the travel privileges.

Pls suggest....

hai

if u dont want to attend to IT0017

u can as well remove it from the info group.

go to spro>PM>PA-> customozing User Interfaces->Actions->take infogroup->take the leaving infogroup remove the 0017 infotype and save it
