Error when doing EEWB

hi ,all

When i create extension using EEWB tools , add a field for example : ZZGENERAL, everything fine to add this field to the customer tab , but when i want to get into the screen that add this field , the screen layout not correctly layout, and something like this popup:

Name *ZCRMT_0100_BTX_UI01-ZZGENERAL in has length 0; editing options are limited

anyone knows about this??

hi jacky, did you ever get a fix to this. also, when he says delete the ZCRMT_..., does he mean the *ZCRM... or the ZCRM ...

i too am having this problem, and also, it is not appearing on the SAP screen for the SAP transaction.

any explanations ?

this used to work, but after i tried adding a new field, this is when i started to get this error, and now whether i delete the whole project or not, i cannot get it to work any more.

Hi Jacky,

Delete the field 'ZCRMT_0100_BTX_UI01-ZZGENERAL' from screen layout,

Save changes and then close the program..

Open it again..

You will see the proper screen layout..

Now add the field 'ZCRMT_0100_BTX_UI01-ZZGENERAL' again to your screen and save the settings..
