SAP MDG and SAP CRM integration

Hi Experts,

Please share how SAP MDG fits in the landscape which already have SAP CRM? What value add does MDG brings in this scenario? The same questions applies to when we have SFDC in the landscape . How does MDG fits and what value add it brings?

Thanks for the reply! I did go through the document mentioned by you. It does explains scenario how MDG could be placed when we have CRM in landscape. I also want to know what value add MDG is bringing in B2C sceanrio.

Consider a scenario: Customer gets created from CRM and replicated to ECC immediately. By bringing in MDG in landscape, we are delaying the process of customer creation in ERP. Please share thoughts on how MDG fits in B2C scenario and what value add it brings ?
