exchange rate diffarence

hi,

my Vendor invoice in INR currency,while doing payment in USD currency iamnot getting exchange rate diffarence ammount.if invoice and payment are in same currency iam getting exchange rate diffarence amount.how to resolve this issue.any inputs on this issue.

Hi Nagarju,

Do you have any other currencies such as a different controlling area currency? If so even if the vendor invoice and payment are in the same currecny there can be an exchange rate differnece for the controlling area currency.

Hi,

You are not getting an exchange difference because the conversion of the payment is with the rate valid for the date of the payment.

With same currency you get a difference because the invoice exchange rate is different to the payment exchange rate.
