what is the difference between a SAP 4.7 Unicode installation and a SAP 4.7 Non unicode installation?

Unicode installation gives all the advantages of having the unicode code page
technology which is now almost mandatory for all the new release installations from SAP.
For moreinformation on unicode and it sadvantages over non-unicodes please
