What is advantages and disadvantages of CBF in DP planning

Hi Gurus,

We have VC in ECC and trying to implement DP , SNP and PPDS .

In DP i am trying to bring all the characteristics of the material as a navigational attributes and please suggest me what why is good

1. to do CBF or bring all the characteristics as navigational attributes of the material?
