Can address cleansing / validation using the DQ transforms only be performed using the SAP Address Directories, or if we have another address dataset supplier can we use this database instead? I understand we may need to build some mapping to match the SAP supplied dataset, but just wondering if it is even possible...

Hi Darryl,

the Global Address Cleanse (GAC) transform can only be used with the address directories provided by SAP since GAC requires the provided format and the provided content.

Even if you have reference data from another supplier I can't imagine that you are able to produce the required structure and content (which is - as far as I know - not documented).
