and I have document which is called "Installation of the SAP Mobile Infrastructure 2.5 SP14"

in this document "you have to configure your mobileengine.config" file. But in my system I do not have MobileEngine.config file. How can I obtain this file?

Do you have any suggestion?

Hi,

Please concatenate the webserver and webpath entry of mobileengine.jsp and invoke the link in IE, check if you can download the same file.

if yes then it should be download on client, if no then you need to deploy nwmclient.sca again on the server.

Hi,

Actually, I have done What you have said! However, it does not work on my system.

I can see files in the mobile components part but I could not download on my system.

Also, I deployed nwmclient.sca again. Still I got an error message:

Load the following files to your mobile device:

MOBILEENGINE_AWT:

No installation file exists yet for selected component.

Java Virtual Machine:

No installation file exists yet for selected component.

Then execute the downloaded installation files.

Load the following file to your mobile device:

MOBILEENGINE_JSP:

No installation file exists yet for selected component.

Then execute the downloaded installation file.

Do you have any suggestion?

Thanks

Hi Erman

If I am not wrong, you have installed the NW2004's with usage type MI and now you need to configure MI to make it work. There are a set of post installation process to configure MI. Follow the procedure give in the below link to configure MI.

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/43/785255eeb53458e10000000a422035/frameset.htm

Thanks

Hi Rajasekaran,

I did MI post installation in the SAP Netweaver, I did some necessary configurations in my system. Actually, there are configuration part which I could not understand.

In the system, with the transaction se80, I pass Objet Navigator

then I choose BSP Application and also

I choose ME_FW_INSTALL then

under the file whose name is Pages with flow logic I choose download.htm

then I executed file.

Then I got an error message The page cannot be displayed.

Do you have any suggestion?

Thanks,

From the BSP application you are mentioning, I guess you are trying to download the MI client framework. Actually it is "install.html" and you can select the version, OS and then it would navigate to the download page. But I guess install.html also would not work right now in your case.

One of the reason may be the services not activated. Start the transaction SICF and make sure all the below services are activated.

• default_host/sap

• default_host/sap/public

• default_host/sap/public/bc (Also activate all individual services underneath this hierarchy, except for workflow and sicf_login_run)

• default_host/sap/public/bsp

• default_host/sap/public/bsp/sap

• default_host/sap/public/bsp/sap/htmlb

• default_host/sap/public/bsp/public

• default_host/sap/public/bsp/public/bc

• default_host/sap/public/bsp/system

• default_host/sap/public/icman

• default_host/sap/public/myssocntl

• default_host/sap/bc

• default_host/sap/bc/bsp

• default_host/sap/bc/bsp/sap

• default_host/sap/bc/bsp/sap/me_fw_install

• default_host/sap/bc/bsp/sap/public

• default_host/sap/bc/bsp/sap/public/bc

• default_host/sap/bc/bsp/sap/system

• default_host/sap/bc/MJC/mi_host

• default_host/sap/bc/webdynpro

Note: There is a possibility that the parent would be activated and its children not activated. So try to navigate the tree and activate all the services mentioned above.

Hope it works for you.

Thanks

Raj

Hello,

I activated services and I connect to installation wizard in the browser and I did necessary selection for the device and then I got an error message:

"Load the following files to your mobile device:

MOBILEENGINE_JSP:

No installation file exists yet for selected component.

Java Virtual Machine:

No installation file exists yet for selected component.

Then execute the downloaded installation files."

Do you have any suggestion?

Thanks.

Were you able to see all the mobile components in the NWA? Search for MobileEngine*. If this is stopping your progress, you can download the setup file from service.sap.com and you could work on it simultaneously.

Thanks

Hi

For NetWeaver 2004s, you cant use MI 2.5 SP14 installation guide but can just use it as a reference. Instead use the documentation for 04s present in http://help.sap.com.

The MobileEngine.config file is present in <MI Installation dir>\settings folder

Hope this helps

Hi,

I guess my problem is bigger, because I do not have <MI installation dir>\ setting folder in my system.

Actually, I can say what I have done for installation,

In the installation, I have choosen abap+java, after installation I raised the support package from SP6 to SP11, then I did the necessary configuration for mobile devices. Am I missing any installation?
