Is it possible to ensure data segregation on the same Hybris Marketing tenant?

Dear all,

is it possible to ensure data segregation and visibility within the same tenant according to

(a) country?

(b) legal entity related to each website (contact records should be visibile only to users who are working, within each country, for the legal entity that has contact data ownership of the single contact record)?

I hope someone could help!

Hi Cristina,

in the current available release (1705), you can segregate data of contacts along the country of the contact. If you open the administrator application "Maintain Business Roles" you will find under maintain restriction the feature for a certain business roles to restrict access on country level. If you specify this, the corresponding business user will see in "contacts and profiles" only contacts of certain countries.

In Segmentation of hybris marketing however one will see the complete number of contacts. In order to reduce the segmentation basis you can specify a segmentation profile filter in the app "Segmentation Configuration" in the subtopic "segmentation profile" for the attribute "Contact Country".

We plan, however to provide an additional capability to segregate contacts, and their interaction and permission data based on the marketing area.
