Fiscal Year configuration

Hi SAP Gurus

My company year end is September. Starting October 2007 it will be the start of Fiscal year 2009.

I did define calendar year 2007. The postings works correctly, but when I try to maintain calender year 2008 I am getting various messages:

1. Last period in calender year 2007 is 004 2009

2. For month 01, day02 only 0004 or 0005 can be specified as a period

3. Data not saved.

2007 is maintained as follows:

month Day Period Year Shift

1 31 4 +1

2 28 5 +1

3 31 6 +1

4 27 7 +1

6 1 8 +1

6 29 9 +1

7 27 10 +1

8 31 11 +1

9 30 12 +1

11 2 1 +2

11 30 2 +2

12 31 4 +2

I want to define 2008 as follows (that why I am getting the above errors)

Month Day Period Year Shift

1 2 3 +1

2 1 4 +1

2 29 5 +1

3 31 6 +1

5 2 7 +1

5 30 8 +1

6 27 9 +1

8 1 10 +1

8 29 11 +1

9 30 12 +1

10 31 1 +2

Calender year 2008 do not want to save. It is giving the errors

By putting +2 in 2007 you have skipped two years ( to 2009). So now when you want to define 2008, 2007 already is part of 2009. How can 10/07 be part of 2009.

That does not seem likley. End 07 with tweleve periods or do shotened fiscal year to adjust to new periods.
