(The error SOLAR_DOC020, SOLAR_DOC021).

I am applying SAP Basis 11.

Should I download the newest SAP Basis 12?

Axel;

Each of the templates are assigned by project. In Project Admin transaction, you can go to the project standards tab and pick and choose the tempaltes you want specifically for the project. You can also assign if the document is relevant to business blueprint or if it can be used multiple times and globally.

hope it helps

Hi!

Thank you very much for your respones, I know that.

My problem is that not all the necessary templates (e.g. Business Blueprint, etc.) contain some content. The most of them are empty.

And my question is: how to get these generated templates? Is there some posibilities to download these from some URL or Knowledge Warehouse?

Thank you very much

As I've stated in your other thread not all of the documentation types have templates assigned - this is standard SOLMAN & there is no where to download it from.

The business blueprint documentation type is used when you generate the blueprint document after you have build it in SOLAR01 & therefore there is no document template attached (it makes use of a macro to generate all the data in the document).

Hi Axel,

I am working fine with SP11.

You could try to trace the activity of the Desktop Office Integration in the following way:

1. Start Windows NT's Command Prompt or Windows 95's MS-DOS Prompt.

Memorize the value of the environment variable TEMP. Trace files will be placed

in this directory. Switch to this directory and delete all of the old trace files

using the DEL command as following:

DEL soi*.trc

Then close the Command Prompt window.

2. Start Windows registry editor (regedit.exe or regedt32.exe). Open the key

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SAP\OfficeIntegration\Tracing. The key

contains numeric values for every component of SAP Desktop Office Integration

that can be traced. Change the value to 1 for every component you are asked to

trace by SAP Helpdesk.

3. Start a new SAP frontend session. Start an R/3 program you want to trace and

try to reproduce the error on the shortest way in order to get a smaller trace file.

4. After the error, switch back to Windows registry editor. Set all the values you

have changed back to 0.

5. Collect the newly created trace file(s) and attach them to your error report. The

trace files names have file extension '.trc' and start with the letters 'soi'.

Hi Axel,

so what was the final solution? Your solution can help others with the same problem in the future.

The question was asked numerous times in the forum over the last week and has received many answers. You mentioned before that note 159499 did not help (), so what part was useful in solving your issue?

Also, it is better if questions are only asked once and updated if there is a need to bump it to the front page for visibility. This makes it easier for others to search the forum for answers to that question. By asking a question twelve times the forum becomes cluttered and the answers become disorganized.

Hi!

It sounds unbelievable, but I have downloaded the both patches for the SAP GUI 7.10 (2 and 3 part) have patched the GUI and restarted my PC.

After these steps I upload .doc-documents and it is works.

Can some one explain and or proof this?

Thank you!

Hi!

I have other issue.

In Tcode SOLAR01, SOLAR02, SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN I would like to use project templates.

The problem is not alle the templates have some content (e.g. Business Blueprint, process documentation, etc.). There are other project templates containing some grafical elements or text.

How can I search and integrate/activate the templates in SOLMAN?

Thank you!
