Stock transfer without STO

Dear All,

For Stock transfer between two plants in two step procedure, if delivery costs / freight charges are to be captured, we need to create Stock Transport Order.

Is there any advancement in ECC 6.0, which fecilitates us to make stock transfer (with freight charges) without creating any Stock Transport Order.

there is no such option available in ECC 6.0, We need to create stock transport order to include delivery / freight charges..

Hi,

There is no such "improvement" and there will never be one like this, the PO (STO) is essential if vendor charges are involved.

If you really want to do this without an STO then use the normal t types (301) to do the move and manage the delivery costs on a normal PO instead.

This is not possible in ECC 6.0 as far as I know. You will still to need to use an STO to capture delivery/freight costs.
