Activating a new characteristic infoobject in an ODS

Hi There

I'm returning to BI after a long lay off.

We added a field (Proposed Vendor) to our extractor from SRM 0BBP_TD_SC_1. We then mapped this field to a newly created info object called ZPROVEN that had the same attributes as the field in the extractor.

We then recreated our transfer and update rules (after regenerating the datasource) -all looks ok.

However, I do not know how to get the data physically into the ODS.

Could someone please give me step by step instructions as to how to do this ?
