Bidding engine workflows in SRM 4.0

Hi all,

Can anyone help me with this? The BO BUS2200, 2202 and 2203 are there but the WF templates are missing and events aren't raised during the flows!! Despite the online help states that they should!

Is it deliverred with any support pack. for SRM 4.0?

The release I use is at :

SAP_ABA 640: SAPKA64019

SAP_BASIS 640: SAPKB64019

PI_BASIS 2005_1_640 : SAPKIPYJ69

SRM_SERVER 500: SAPKIBKS11

Bidding engine's WFs aren't availabble in SRM 4.0

From the SRM40 documentation :

Bid

WS79000010 – Without approval,

WS79000002 – One-step approval

Approval workflows for bids

The relevant approval workflow is started, depending on whether a manager or an employee of the purchasing group accepts a bid for a bid invitation.

Bid Invitation

WS14500026 – Without approval,

WS14500027 – One-step approval

WS14500028 – n-step approval

Approval Workflows for bid invitations

After bid invitations (and their change versions) are published, one of these three approval workflows is started, depending on the start conditions.

The implementation of the BAdI BBP_WORKFLOW_APPROV_BADI is a prerequisite for n-step approval (with back & forth-processing). (If this is not the case, the manager of the purchasing organization is determined as approver.)

it's not a matter of start conds. Events aren't raised at all they do not appear in the trace.

Are the same available on the reference client 000?

Your basis can check this.

Pl. check whether there are some installation issues.

WF templates are Workbench objects means cross client they do not belong to 000 or any other

No need to search anymore, I raised an OSS message and received the following answer:

<b>The workflow for bid invitation funcionality is not available for SRM 4.0. It is just available from SRM 5.0 onwards.

But for Confirmation you have got the Approval Funcionality. SRM 4.0.</b>

Hi,

BUS2200 and BUS2202 are in the SRM50 system.

In the WF triggering conditions, did you search using the matchcode and BOR Object starting with BUS22* ?
