what is the client specific data? give two e.g of client specific data
Hi Manish,
In the logon screen of SAP you would find a three character field called Client.
The client is an environment to work, maintain data and to maintain seperate entities which have no relation among them. For eg) Say if there are two organizations under the same group of company and there is no business relation between them, then, we would create two different clients to have separate environment.
The customer master data, material master data are client sepcific. Access sequence and condition tables are client independent.

Organizational units in Enterprise Structure such as Company Code, sales Organization, Plant, shipping Pint, etc are Client specific.
Similarly Sales Document Type, etc are Client specific
To Check if it is client specific, in SPRO --> goto Additional Data --> Technical Data --> Client-Dependend.
Base unit of measure and material description are client specific data in material master.
