Hi Nishu,

If you are using CCMS you can go ahead with that. OR you can also do with file export and import.

In the IR you will find the Menu called Export Design Objects. Using this you can export a Software component version and this will get stored as .tpz file in the repository_server/export folder in the XI server. You need to copy this and paste in the prod xi server repository_server/import folder. Now you can do the Import Design Objects.

Simillarly for ID as well

Nishu,

If your landscape has been installed with CMS , then u can go by transporting CMS. Else do the file export from DEV and import into PROD. By the way u have DEV &CONS as the same box is it?

Best regards,

raj.

Transporting objects in XI is different from transporting ABAP objects. As prateek mentioned you can transport XI objects using File system or CMS. By default you can use File system. If you want to use CMS you can transport it.
