Stop XI and then try to clear up some space.....

This will solve your issue.

Hi Guys, we have the same problem and deleted all the archives, looked for core-dumps for deleting them, but didn't find any.

The Diskspace runs full again even though there is no action on the DEV-System.

What might be the problem?!

P.S. OS is LINUX Ent. 10

Hi Jens,

In that case you should analyse your OS Logs carefully.

Apart from that please search for core files under:

/usr/sap/<SID>/DV....../work

/usr/sap/<SID>/DV....../j2ee/cluter/server0

/usr/sap/<SID>/DV....../j2ee/cluter/dispatcher

Hello Varun,

To more precise you can also delete if not require:

1) Files of /usr/sap/Trans/EPS/in -Strictly if not required or move temporary to another location.

2) Archive log from \saploc\SID\DVEBMGSXX\j2ee\cluster\server0\log -> strictly if not required or move temporary to another location

Hope this will resolve your concern.

Hi,

maximum space will be consumed by "archives" inside log folder,Delete all old archive files.

Also you can delete "temp" directory and sapinst_instdir folder.

After these restart the whole system once, not the engine.

It should work then.

Reward points if helpful............

Sorry but I'm talking about /usr/sap/<SID> and the archives are in the filesystem /usr/sap/trans. That's correct ?

And the same with sapinst_instdir, which is define as independent filesystem.

Thank's in advance

Hello Varun,

You could delete the temp folder , it would clear some space.

Delete all the snapshots as it takes in maximum space.

Please do let me know, which OS are you using and what did you try , so that the space got consumed ?

Thank you.
