reg lsmw and bdc

hello experts

i know how to upload master data through lsmw but i dont know how to upload legasy system transaction data. can u please explain and provide me any documentation for uploading transaction data and also what is the use of bdc

While data migration which data we cant directly upload?

While data migration what precautions we have to take?
