Role Functionality based on Language

Hi All-

Is there a way to define roles/functionality based on a specific language? I have a repository with 2 languages. I want a group of content producers to have admin permissions for only one language variant but read access to the other. I know how to create users and roles, and adjust the functions they can perform but I do not see any option for tying a role to a language. Any advice?

thanks

Tim

Thanks Maheshwari, that is close to what I was looking for (and something I didn't know existed). However, what I have defined for my repository is 2 different English versions. Language selector only lets me choose the single 'English[English]' language. I'd like to set up the user's permissions based on the languages available in the repository.

Just some quick clarification. The Language Selector tool is what changes the User Interface when logging into MDM, not the language layer that is logged into. MDM currently supports the User Interface in the 16 languages shown in the Language Selector, hence there is really no difference in English (US) vs English (GB) for the User Interface. You can set any of the 16 languages in the Language Selector, but still log in to the other language layers.

Tim, as far as your issue goes, I'm unaware of any options to set permissions on language layers. You may want to submit this to SAP as a development request.
