Info record Updating

Does the info Record update with the creation of PO? The situation is I have an info record ceated already, I change the price in the PO but it doesnt seen to update the info record with the new price. I have the infoupdate button check marked but it doesnt seem to do anything? Is there a way to get it to update?

Dear Gregory,

infoUpdate Indicator determines which prices and conditions are suggested in future PO items.

Prices and conditions can apply to an entire purchasing organization or to a single plant within a purchasing organization.

What value did you put in field infoUpdate. Below are the possible values.

' ' No update

'A' Update with or without plant

'B' Update with plant (if no plant ban)

'C' Update without plant (if no plant requirement)

A : Updating of the document number is effected at plant level as long as there is a purchasing info record at plant level. Otherwise the document number is updated at purchasing organization level.

B : Updating is effected at plant level if plant conditions are allowed for the plant.

C : Updating is effected without plant data if plant conditions are not necessary for the plant.

Hi

Follow the steps to avoid price updation from last purchase order or info record.

1.Goto Tcode , OMFI - Default values for Purchasing.

2.If value "01" is available select it or click on new entries.Then choose detail.

3.Click on the price adoption tab,In "Copying of Conditions from last purchase order" select the right option then save it.

4.Now go to T.code SU01. select your user name,choose change mode.

5.Click on Parameters tab. enter "Parameter ID" as "EVO" in parameter value field enter as "01"(Which we have done in step -2).Save and come out.

6.Now go and create purchase order. it will not populate any price.

Hi Gregory,

Info record update marked in the PO does not actually update the price in the Info record, but it holds the refrence of the PO number in the purch .org 2. so next time when you create the PO for the same vendor & material combination the price will be picked up from the refrenced PO in the Info record.
