Help req in Solution landscape maintenance

Hi all,

When i execute transacton DSWP and open a solution and goto Operations Setup->solution landscape maintenence, top of the screen in the row leading role of solution i see "evaluation system", but i want to change it to development,cud anyony tel me process to do it

Hi,

unfortunately if there is one system in the landscape the leading role can't be changed anymore. You have to delete first all logical components (losing all available EWAs) before you are able to change the leading role ... .

You have the possibility to add systems which are not of system role "evaluation system" to your landscape if you don't want to go the way described above.

hi Alexander,

but i did not asssign that leading role, how did it come. i mplanning to create new logical component and solution , so pls let me know where to setup(chage) the leading role ??

Hi,

sorry for the late response. If you create a solution landscape and enter the solution directory, you see the leading role above the table of the components to add. It is NOT the navigation role. (What the navigation role has to do here, nobody could answer me up to know ...)

Once chosen the leading role and added a logical component, the leading role can't be changed anymore.
