Credit Mgmt - Delivery Status "Not blocked" for blocked deliveries

Hi All,

I've configured OVA8 with the credit check condition, oldest open item overdue to 30 days. However, when I create an order this is what happens.

1) The sales order doesnt show Delivery status "Blocked" only gives an "Oldest open item overdue check" warning. Only when I try creating the delivery, an error message is displayed on the screen stating Delivery is blocked. Doesnt status have to be shown as "Blocked" even on the Sales order?

2) What about old orders that havent been deliverd? As far as I understand my system config, the credit check is not at Delivery level, only at Order level. So for the old sales orders, inspite of credit check criteria being satisfied, i am still able to create deliveries. Is there a way to block these as well?

In the Tcode OVAK, after the reaction field there is a field "status/block' check that field.

The check box is checked. I know it worked in the Development system but doesnt seem to work in the TEST system.

However, the major problem is that what about older orders? How can I put them on delivery block as well without manually changing them individually?

was probably an anomaly. works fine now.

In T code OVAK, your order type would be set to give you a error message for delivery and warning for Order that is why you are getting these messages.

We have configured OVAK with Check credit= "D" which is Automatic Credit Check. This is further configuredi n OVA8 where I have configured it for Warning message. However, shouldnt the sales order show BLOCKED for Delivery Status? It does not show blocked but shows order status BLOCKED. For a blocked order delivery cant be created. This is ok but shouldnt the Sales order show BLOCKED for delivery?

Moreover, For older sales orders, the delivery can still be created since the order status is NOT BLOCKED. Is there a way for a credit check to be carried out for such orders automatically by the system?
