Bex broadcaster web template problem

Hi experts,

Im facing a big issue right now and I think its time to request your help !

When I want to <b>broadcast a web template</b>, I choose the web template, click on create new setting button and then, nothing happen.

Ive got no error , no message, <b>only a blank page with the url of the was in the address bar.</b>

However, when I want to broadcast query or workbook, it works great !.

Any ideas ???

Can you execute the template and try broadcasting from the context menu using the Distribute Option?

no, because it doesn't matter the way I take, I'm always going to BW WAS.

Ex :

http://MYBW.DOMAIIN.COM:8002/sap/bw/BEx?

However, I can publish a web template via PUBLISH // IN EP 6.0 from the menu.

So, the problem seems to be the BEX BROADCASTER .

I also Tried to restart the BEX service via SICF tcode, but no luck.

I remember that was a SP issue which was corrected by a config on the BI side. Please check OSS for the same.

hI Deepu ,

i found the oss note, 1009405 .

And I reactivated the 0BROADCASTING_TEMPLATE ...

I don't know if it helped me or not but I found that if I create a WEB TEMPLATE with a new Query as the DATAPROVIDER of a table , the broadcast works great !

But if I try to publish a web template with a old query, the broadcast doesn't work.

Very weird ... well I don't know if it is a Authorization issue or if I need to recreate or reactivate the query's but I keep searching.

Problem seems to be if it is a precalculated web templates, when I try to broadcast, I have the blank page.

My questions : It is normal that I cannot broadcast a precalculated web template with the bex broadcaster ??

What is the content in the web template which you broadcasted?

Hi Kishore,

I tried To broadcast web template that content table only, then table + graphics, then only graphics. All without succes.

The dataprovider of the table and graphics is the same query.

however, if I want to publish that query via the bex broadcaster, it works great !

I can publish to portal and send email with the broadcaster.
