How to delete the Planned independent requirements using BAPI or something?

Dear Folks,

I am struggling to delete the planned independent requirements using BAPI.

BAPI: "BAPI_REQUIREMENTS_CHANGE"

I have tried by using the above one, it is overwriting the quantity as 0 as i need but it is not removing the material and MRP Area, but i want to delete the material MRP area along with quantity.

Tcode; MD62

Please let me know your inputs on the above.

You can try to call the PIR reorganization reports RM60RR20, RM60RR30 and RM60RR40.
