Local Web IDE remote system connection - authentication when selecting a destination

Hi there,

I´m trying to import a sapui5 application from an abap repository.

Therefore I created a destination file that looks like this:

When selecting the destination on the repository dialog I´m asked to authenticate myself to localhost.

What is the authentications purpose and where the credentials can be found?

The web ide username and password won´t work.

The authentication dialog comes up when accessing the following url:

http://localhost:8080/webidedispatcher/destinations/r2e/sap/bc/adt/discovery

The same problem occures when accessing a system specific odata service within a running application.

Enter abap repository r2e system credentials in the dialog. You need to authenticate yourself to import the sap ui5 apps.

Always check wether your password is outdated or not...
