Cluster sync mode in File & SFTP Channels

I want to use the concept of synchronization for the SFTP & File channels.

I got to know that a parameter/field is added in Advanced mode of channel for setting it up. Basically I want to set the cluster sync mode for the channel.

Kindly let me know what the parameter is. Also if you have any links about the topic to let me know.
