backward pricing

hi everbody,

I have a scenario, customer requests for discount on net price. Now that discount will be on the net price, we have to do backward calculation and ultimately arrive to a new base price.

How can we to do this

well initially you would have a base price which you can store in a table , but as you mentioned you want discount on net price then this value also you can store in a separate table and then with a routine you can arrive at the original base price substracting the discounted amount.

    Hope this helps

      Hi Srini

this would completely be complex if you want to go in the reverse way you really need to write a separate routine to calculate the price where the abaper will take all the values and then formulate it and then come to the value what you want.

or other option is to store the value of taxes, excise, freight and stuff in a separate subtotal and deduct this from the primary may be this should fix your problem
