Backflushing in Repetitive manufacturing

Former Member

Hi All,

I am having a query on backflushing in Repetitive manufacturing,

Pl. let me know if I can separate the component backflushing from Assembly GR.,In our production scenario we want to get the material issued(261 mvmt) against the planned order and then carry out actual production.

During back flushing I want only 101 movement to happen for assembly material and no backflushing of component should happen.

Pl. let me know if this is possible.

Hi Sandeep,

Please change the REM profile as below

1.Go to SPRO>Production>Repetetive Manufacturing-->Control data, in the Control data 1 tab deselect the "GI back flush at GR posting".

Then first execute material staging transaction code is MF60 and then go for REM backflush. In materil staging the components issue is carried out for the planned order. After that you can execute the REM backflush in MFBF.

Hope the information is useful

Thanks and regards

Thanks Mangal,Tajuddin,Nanda and Murugesan.

My actual problem is, I want to do issuing of material(261 mvmt) before carrying out the actual production(similar to production order scenario) in case of high value items manufactured inhouse, and I want to have control over material movements via a specific order(planned order).

as I understand from your replies that I can separate GR and GI mvmts. but the GI mvmt. is to be carried out separately after GR mvmnt.

Whereas I want to carry out GI of components before GR of assembly against a planned order.

I hope my requirement is clear,

Sandeep,

In rem scenarion components placed on the production lines anonomously (without ref to planned order)...you cannot issue materials like in production orders scenario. if you want to have track on the good issues before the GR then use the pull list concept...there will be no movement type but you will have track on quantities issued to header parts/production lines not to planned orders.

In rem GI always at the time of GR or after GR...No chance that you can do the GI before the production...Physically this is actual scenario but not in REM.

Hope the above answer is clear..if any question then let me know.

Thanks Tajuddin,

Can we define movement type for generating reservations while creating pull list.

e.g. If I want to create reservation with movement type 261 ,is it possible.

Sandeep,

Yes you can create from MB21 with movement type 261. But this will be with ref to material.

If helps rewards points and close this thread.

GO THE SPRO >>>> PRODUCTION>>>>>REM >>>> CONTROL DATA>>>>

DEFINE AND CREATE THE REM PROFILE

IN THE CREATE REM PROFILE ,WE CAN DO THE STEP BY STEP PROCEDURE.

HERE YOUY CAN MENTION THE GOOD POSTING FOR

GI WITH GR

(ii) FOR GR ONLY

CLICK THE 2ND OPTION

AND IN THE DEFINE REM PROFILE

Hi Sandeep,

In REM profile customizing deselect the check box "GI backflush at GR posting" ...With this only GR and GI could be seperated and you can use MF70 transaction for sepearte backflush after confirmation (GR) from MFBF.

No backflush indicators works in rem manufacturing. All control is from REM profile.

If any question then please inform.

Dear Sandeep,

Do u mean to say only GR should happen, and GI you will be doing as and when

required?

If that's so,you can define a REM profile with creating cumulated Post processing

records allowed in control data 1 of REM profile.

In this case only GR will happen and regarding 261 movement's all the list of materials will be getting settled in MF47.

You can fetch the data daywise also,if included individual post processing record in REM profile.

I hope this should be helping you.

Reward points if useful.

Hi,

You need to define in Rem profile such that GI and GR to be carried out in separate process.

Disable the check box GI Back flush at GR Posting.

Also define in REM Profile the movement types against the GI and GR.
