Transport active OData & UI5 services to further environment

Hi Team,

We have configured 300+(standard + custom) fiori apps in s4hana 1610 and we would like to move them to further environment(eg:DEV to QA).

1. How rapidly we can move all the active odata services to QA?

2. How rapidly we can move all active UI5 packages to QA?

Regards,

Govardhan.

moving the packages shouldn't be a problem, however, it all depends how it is set up on the initial environment vs how it will be used on other environments:

Make sure your environments are compatible (similar SPs installed, any patches, etc) next you need to know if the users have the correct roles to be able to access these apps/services. Further, you need to know if the migration of your software is going to be done by moving a Delivery Unit, a package or a changelist. There may be scenarios that can work easier for you vs some that you need to move packages and consider the order of dependencies. I hate not being able to give you a straight up answer, but it really depends at many things to consider. Please make sure you can collaborate with your organization and see which option is best for you guys.

    good luck
