budget exceeding

hi gurus

A user tried to open a PR (EUR 21,970) on WBS element YEM-CM-PAL-NCS-NCS-NCS, and the system gave her a budget exceeded message. I checked the budget on CJ30, and it looks fine.

what could be the problem . please give me the suggestion

You can set the activity to 'warning' in Customizing temporarily, if it relates to AUC

Hi,

In addition to what subbu has said, please check following.

Go to Path

SPRO-Project Systems-Cost-Budget-Define Tolerance Limits

Under Usage column, check how much is the percentage maintained.

When your PR amount reaches that percentage of total amount, system will give message.

Execute the t.code: CJBN .... For the relevant project. Then system will adjust if there is any inconsistance.
