hi all,
here i ve a quesiton , normally how many message transfers will take place in a week after the interface developed in xi..
thanks
sareen
Hi ,
Message transfer number can depend on various factors .
1) What kind business requirement dealing with .
2)XI hardware sizing .
3)Size of the message (Thumb rule is send an idoc inside xi ..the xml message which is generated inbound side inside for the idoc ..take it's size ).Size of the message also depends on various things ..say for instance ...the number of colmuns in the file which you are sending , long text fields ..et cetra..
4) For message size of 1 mb ..you can push 300000 to 600000 records in 2 hours flat ...so for one week ..you do the math
5) If you have BPM or Content conversion (in case file adapter ) ..for a scenario ...then the performance will come down somewhat.

Hey,
Tough answer dude. Varies from one scenario to other and project to project. Suppose your transfering master data than number of message being transffered will be less it is reverse in case of transactional data. Number can't be indictive.
