QE51N -System throws an extra decimal in the Result field!!!!!!!

Hi All,

I have a strange problem.For a Quant MIC ,in QE51N screen teh system gives an extra decimal i.e; if the MIC has a decimal place limited to 4 in master data then when we enter for eg. 1.2345 in the results field ,the system throws 1.23450 in the results field and 1.2345 in the original value field .

I know this is a very different problem ,pls guide if any of you have any idea on where i can possibly give a shot at.

Also ,please let me know if i need to be more clear to explain on what is going on in the system.

Hi Naik,

Don't panic - this is a simple configuration setting. Go to Quality Management in the IMG. Under 'Basic Settings' choose 'Maintain Settings at Plant Level'. Select the plant you are working in and go to the 'Results Recording' tab. The field 'Additional Decimal Places' will have an entry of 1. Set this to 0 and the displayed result in characteristics will be as entered.

There you go, job done!
