hi Ahmed,

Login to Visual administrator , /usr/sap/SID/JCxx/j2ee/admin-go.bat or ./go

give administrator credentials.

then cluster-server-services-SLD Data Supplier

Go to tab HTTP Settings on right side :

Give details of the SLD machine to which you want to get connected ,or

If you want to make the localhost itself as SLD,

You can give details of local host.Save after makeing teh entry...

Then go to CIM Client Generation settings.

Enter the same SLD details and save there.

Then youcan try with "CIM Client Test" and also trigger SLD Data transfer

on teh top left corner.

Both of them should be successful.

After these,Logon to http://<IP adress>:http port /sld

Go to administration and do teh Initial setup.

Its enough if you mentione Object server name

After that You have to import the CR content, at "import" tab .

These are the basic configuration steps.

Furtehr more you can refer to

Hi Usha,

Thanks for the steps you mentioned. Somehow I could do this. (Both successful). But one issue.

In VA> whatever steps you mentioned HTTP and CIM test> both has J2EE_ADMIN user id. So when I go to /sld the Administration tab is not highlighted?
