Dear All,

i am facing the problem of capacity overload of teh resource is not taken into consideration while planning. giving message : Resource WDWPBS018_1002_002: increase capacity overload is not taken into account.

In procedure it tells to reduce the PPDS orders.. But How can system can plan those resources if that are 100% loaded.

How system loads resource in case on SNP planned order and in case of PPDS planned order or production order.

Resource which is loading 100% more is loaded with 4 prod orders and 4 planned orders and both are consuming resource for 2 days comman.

If such problem persists does it affect any component allocation for particular operation aor something like that..

Points will be alloted for answer.

Thank You in advance..

Dear Amol ,

Check the capacity variant in your Resource and the settings of the capacity variant in t-code /sapapo/resc01 .

The following settings are available ... Minimum capacity , Normal capacity & blank field for maximum capacity . This message is directly to do with this setting for SNP optimisation output .

Dear Amol,

I think resouce "WDWPBS018_1002_002" is a manpower resource which is attached to your SNP relevant resource. If your primery SNP relevant resource is having more capacity than manpower resource, then manpower resource becomes your bottleneck resource & planning takes place based on capacity of manpower resource. If you increase the capacity of manpower resource more that primery resource then planning will be based on Primery SNP relevant resource.

Dear chetan,

Resource "WDWPBS018_1002_002" is itself is a primary resource we are not using any machine resource and is only relevant for SNP optimizer planning...

Capacity on a resource where there are SNP planned orders and PPDs planned orders is not finite. You can overload the capacity on the resource as much as you want

you are supposed to use Capacity Levelling to spread the excess SNP planned orders.

pl check the following link for some more details
