System Error after security patching

Hi,

security patches have been applied to our production XI(PI 7) server.

After that a File to File scenario fails in Adapter engine with status "SYSTEM ERROR" and with description:

Delivery of the message to the application using connection File_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: java.lang.NullPointerException.

can you any suggestions for resolving the issue?

Hi,

Even i am also trying to impliment message level security in xi to exchange files between two file systems by using java mapping. Please let me know what is the method you are following to apply security and is it ok now?

hi

its windows level security patching.i'm not aware of which method is followed.

however, the above mentioned issue is resolved after restarting the J2EE engine.

i suppose the issue arises if J2ee engine in not properly initialized.

Also this error is only for one interface or for all the interfaces?
