Different End of Request/Provisioning emails for different request types in GRC AC

Hello everyone,

I am facing one issue in GRC 10.0 system. My client wants different End of request or provisioning emails for different request types. As far as i know, End of Request templates are maintained in MSMP process global settings, anyone have any idea how to send different mail for different request types.

Appreciate any kind of workarounds suggested!

Thanks,

Mahak Kumar

Hello Mahak,

Rightly said by you, end of request templates have to be maintained in process global settings, so cant have separate E-mails based on request types.

You can try to configure it on stage level though, if it fits clients requirement. please note the password variable cannot be filled when sending from stage level.

Thanks for your reply Yashasvi.

Actually client need different template only. We have created one Z request type and the email content for End of the request mails for this new request type should be different from content in templates of existing request types. However i am ok with stage level approval notification to the user, provided end of the request mail should not be triggered for this request type otherwise user will receive 2 emails i.e. one from stage level and one from global settings.

Hence Condition is we can not remove End of request template as well since it is being used in some other request type. Is there any possibility that end of request mail can be restricted for one request type, i mean it should not be triggered for one request type?

Regards,

Mahak

Hello Mahak,

Unfortunately I am not aware of any possibility for restricting the End of request notifications based on request types.

Not an issue.

I hope someone else in the community may be knowing.
