i)Customer project
ii)Investment project
iii)overhead project
What is the Tcode and the settings to be done in that
Regards
Abraham
Hi Abraham,
There is no transactions in SAP to see the difference of types of project. As they mentioned, we have transaction for creating project types only.
Based on the business scenario, we have to define your own project type and make necessary settings in the project profile.
If you want to know more in detail, you can explore the standard settings of the three project types you mentioned in the IDES system.
Project types mainly used in classification of projects only. You can create your own project type and to that you can create your own project profile based on which business process you want to make a project structure.
Thanks and regards

Hi,
There is no functionality behind process type. This field is only used for classification purposes!
The types of projects you are describing are different scenario's where projects can be used. For example a customer project originates from a sales order item. Via the assembly process automatically an project is created in background.
Be aware: Each scenario has specific customizing to make it work!

Paul

Hi Abraham,
You can use T-code OPSA to see Project profiles for respective projects as mentioned by you.Try to compare each field for all these projects.
Mostly, you will find the differences in Version profile,Simulation profile,Validation,Planning profile,Budget profile,Settlement profile,Settlement Rule strategy,Investment profile.

Hi,
You need to define project types for each of them (CP, IP, OP). The project type is later assigned to project profile.
SPRO->PS->Struc->Oper Struc->WBS->Create Proj Types
