Glitch on SP28 - Base level member

Hi folks, having a bit of a glitch here.

We are on EPM add-in SP28 patch 3 and when selecting "base level" member of context (and context is already a base level member) it retrieves a blank selection... and if we select "member and base level" it works fine and retrieves the selected leave member. This is an issue as if we select a parent member, it will bring both parent and base level members - we only want base level member. Anyone experiencing this issue?

Also, on the local member editor the position selector has disappeared - this is fixed on sp29 though.

Do you remember the latest SP with different behavior?

"SP27 was fine, but we had to move on as we upgraded Excel and SP27 had some compatibility issues" - what do you mean by compatibility issues?

I have performed the same test on the account dimension with EPM 10.0 SP 28 Patch 3

    No issues!

@vadim I think SP27 was fine, but we had to move on as we upgraded Excel and SP27 had some compatibility issues.

Hello. I am not seeing your issue. I'm testing version 10.0 instead of 10.1, but I don't think that makes a difference on the Excel platform. I am seeing the local member position issue you reference so I'm relieved to know that is going away in version 29.

Please elaborate on what you mean by "blank member"? What comprises the OLAP member formula? If there's an expansion error, it usually defaults to the context member, so what you describe seems very abnormal. Have you replicated the issue with an absolute minimal report? Screen shots are always helpful. See mine below.
